I was making a multi layer cake, and wanted to have a small circumference. These were the perfect size and the cakes came out perfectly.

Nice appearance - cooks evenly - the only problem was the sticker that was on the pan. It was very difficult removing the glue residue.

I have both the 6" and the 8" pans, and both are fantastic. They bake evenly, and I love that they're a bit deeper than the cake pans you'd find at Walmart, Target, etc. I'm currently enrolled in a cake decorating class and have found the 6" pan to be very useful when it comes to practicing. I can make 2 or 3 small cakes with one batch of cake batter and practice a different technique on each cake. The pan is also perfect for making little personalized cakes - I was able to make two completely different cakes for two very different people and transport them without trouble because they're so small.
I only have two semi-complaints. I was able to remove the sticker from the 8" pan very easily, but the sticker on the 6" will not come off. It doesn't matter, really, but it's just a little annoying to have half a ripped sticker on the side of the pan. My other complaint is also about the 6".
