This pan creates a regal looking cake. It also lends itself to many creative options that most bundt cakes can't match. The indentations that circle the cake on two levels can be filled in with any number of decorations. Depending upon what kind of cake it baked, those indentations can be filled with almonds, jordan almonds, cherries, chocolate kisses, birthday candles, and on and on and on. The cake pan is a premium heavy weight pan and well worth the cost, and if well cared for, should last a lifetime. A couple of hints when using the pan. Be certain to use a cooking spray that contains flour -- like Baker's Joy. Spray liberally and then turn the pan over onto a papertowel and let the excess drip out while preparing the batter. And, to insure good results, once the cake is removed from the oven, be patient and let the cake cool upright in the pan on a rack for 15 minutes before unmolding.
