I bought these last November and was as pleased as punch until yesterday when the back of the left hand touched the oven rack and it melted instantly.
Update
I purchased a pair of these almost a year ago and all was fine until one day the back of the left hand (at the tip) touched the wire shelf in the oven, whilst removing a roast chicken. The glove immediately fused to the metal and split. Silicone Zone replaced them immediately, under their lifetime guarantee. However, less than 1 month after receiving the new pair, exactly the same thing happened, in exactly the same place. I think there is a design or manufacturing flaw with these gloves. Let's hope they replace them again. The guy at Siliconezone was very rude. Even suggested I touched the electric element in the oven - even though I use propane - Insists I send it back to them at my expense $20.00. They are ok, nothing special. Holding a 425 degree pan for 10 seconds and you will feel the heat, especially if part of the grip of the pan is away from the ribbed surfaces of the glove.
They are good for short term, a few seconds of high heat contact.

Do not buy these gloves...,

They look great, but trust me they do not serve their purpose. Like the review mentioned a few before mine, the gloves only protect you from heat for ten seconds or less. By the time I open the oven, pull out the oven rack and hold my pyrex dish or cookie sheet it's been 10 seconds, my hands are burning and I am running to set it down somewhere. Ouch!
It's better to invest in gloves that are a bit more expensive rather than purchasing these ones. They do not insulate your hands from the heat very well.
A waste of my money. I am not happy with this purchase. Don't make the same mistake I did. ;)
