the pan is really non-stick, but it smells when it's getting hot. and the cake, or whatever you do, absorbs this smell too. i wouldn't recommend this product to anybody.

These pans are pretty rigid and durable. Silicone cookware is incredibly easy to clean and use. It's the perfect non-stick material. I've replaced just about all of my metal bakeware with silicone counterparts. If I had to buy a gift for a newlywed couple, I'd get them a set of these.

In the war against unnecessary oils in our food, non-stick cookware like this is essential. I bought a pair of these for baking a two layer cake, but also use them for baking pies.
Someone in my family left one of these cake pans right next to the gas burner on our stove (no one will fess up to it) and we found that a burner generates a temperature way beyond the specifications of this product. The cake pan didn't burn, but it did melt a dime-sized hole on the side which made it pretty useless for holding cake batter. So I cut the bottom out of the ruined cake pan with a pair of scissors and I now use the flat disk as a non-stick surface for baking cookies or pizzas. As with the original cake pan, its so floppy that you need to bake with it on top of a cookie sheet for stiffness. When you're baking cakes with these pans, you don't want to try to slide it into a hot oven when it has liquid batter in it without something stiff underneath.
I liked this product so...Read more
