I'm a cake designer, so when I say this kitchen tool is the holy grail of cake servers, take it to heart. It's a very stiff, exceptionally sharp stainless steel blade which is perfectly shaped to get right to the tip of a slice of cake or pie, and support it on the way to a plate. Moreover, one side of the blade is serrated to cut through apples in a tart, and the like. When used in conjunction with a pitcher of very hot water, dipping and then drying the blade between slices, you will achieve the most perfect presentation possible. It's well worth the money, and is of exceptionally high quality. Rosle gadgets are the best. You buy them once, and never replace them.

This Rosle product is made in China, and its quality is very inferior to the German-made utensils. Rosle is ruining their reputation with these cheaper Chinese-made products. Too bad that they will prostitute their name and image to make a few more bucks.
