This review is from: Parrish Magic Line 12 x 16 x 3 Inch Oblong Cake Pan (Kitchen) Yes, she let's me in the kitchen every now and then! Actually, I bake. Actually I LOVE to bake. And I bake a LOT. I've used all the Wilton pans and I bought this for my wife upon the recommendation of a friend of mine who is a professional baker and cake decorator. It arrived quickly and in great condition. When I opened the package and picked up the pan, two words came to mind. "Heavy" and "Quality". Expensive? Well, "Yes" when compared to the cheaper baking pans, but "No" after you bake with it once with such a quality pan. It bakes evenly, comes out clean, and leaves nice sharp edges to make icing/decorating easier. The last pan you'll ever have to (and want to!!) buy. Highly recommended. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Parrish Magic Line 12 x 18 x 2 Inch Oblong Cake Pan (Kitchen) I own my own business making wedding cakes and so far parish magic has been my favorite line of baking pans. The quality is fantastic and they are made in the USA so even if they cost a couple of extra dollars it's worth it. Actually the quality is way better compared to Wilton and Wilton cost more. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Parrish Magic Line 12 x 16 x 2 Inch Oblong Cake Pan (Kitchen) This is the best brownie pan possible. This is undeniable. Here is why:Finding integers to solve the equation n*m -(n-2)*(m-2) = (n-2)*(m-2) gives the values for which the number of edge pieces will be equal to the number of middle pieces. 5x12 is an awkward ratio for a brownie pan, so 6x8 is favored. However, that is far too small for real brownie lovers. Therefore, 12x16 ensures sufficient brownie mass. Any larger would be too much. The squared corners of this pan ensure edge pieces aren't deprived of their chocolate fix. The vertical walls prevent the edge pieces from receiving an extra share, as happens with the more common flared walls. The best part of this pan, however, and the one that brings it to the top of the brownie-pan list, is its 2" depth. When you bake brownies in this pan, you can cut them into 6x8 2" cubes. Yes, that's right my friends. 48 delicious 2" cubes of beautiful brownie bounty, equally distributed among middle and edge...Read more |
