Norpro Silicone 9 Inch Springform Pan with Glass Base

I have several springform pans, different sizes, different shapes and types. They are all adequate but most have inherent problems (leaking, mostly) or are awkward to use.
None produces a perfectly clean side of a multi-layer cheesecake/mousse, etc., without having some smearing from using a thin-bladed knife to loosen the sides.

I didn't need a knife at all when I made a triple-layer cheesecake mousse. I was able to remove the "lock" and peel the silicone sidewall away from the cheesecake with no disruption of the layers. It looked perfect.

I am sold on this and would like it in a smaller size as I do prepare a lot of this type of dessert in the 6-inch size.

So far out of two recipes one came out great and the other was a bit undercooked. I will make again and with some adjustments all should be well. I do like the glass base which is nice for serving as you can cut portions without messing up the surface. Clean up was great. I did place this springform pan on a cookie sheet for baking as a precaution for any leaking... happy to report there were NO leaks.

Fantastic product. Bakes all cakes perfectly....super clean up.......wonderful product......the best spring form pan I have ever used!
