I was actually planning to visit Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table to buy one of those $40 cookie pans, but I found a great one by Norpro. I bought this spring pan to bake madeleines (I'm tired of the seashell shape) and butter cookies and other assortments of tea cakes. This is a nice stainless steel baking pan perfect for the oven, for chocolate molds, jello molds, you name it, and I purchased it for half the price of other ones! As you can probably tell, I am extremely excited. It works great, and is easy to clean. Norpro sells these cookie pans in various other shapes, so feel free to check them out. My only piece of advice would be to make sure the size is right for your oven--it's not abnormally large, but I do have a small oven and this juuust fits.
