Beautiful pan. Cakes just slided out of the pan with no problem at all. The children just loved it! I can't wait to bake for my childdren birthday parties coming up soon.

The pan is sturdy and detailed (which can be good or bad, depending on whether your cake batter fills in all of the nooks and crannies in the molds). However, a word of caution: the instructions say to grease and lightly flour the pan, which browns the cakes and gives them an irregular surface. I tried the pan (with a second batch of the same cake batter) without greasing or flouring and the cakes turned out beautifully and even with a bit of shine. Now, I also put a bit of food coloring on the batter (purple for hippo, green for alligator, etc.), but the batter browned; this is not an issue with the pan, as much as baking. However, it does limit what you can do with the baked cakes, unless you glaze the cakes with thin colored icing afterward.
