Heavyweight, 15-cup pan makes all the difference in absolutely wonderful results for your home-made pound cake. A cake that much trouble, expensive and time-consuming deserves the perfect 'specialty' cake pan to produce top-notch baking results. It may be a little pricey, but it is well worth it -- could not expect better! Oh, and as others have indicated, it is silver in color, not the dark grey as pictured. Cake comes out clean after baking and pan exceptionally easy to clean. You couldn't ask for more. Also, you can't go wrong purchasing from (or through) Amazon. (In case you were wondering, NO, I am not a stockholder of Nordic Ware and I rarely give a review such as this without even a slight negative comment.)

The pan received looks nothing like the picture presented on this website or any other website advertising the same pan. There is absolutely no way that everyone could post a picture of a black or very dark charcoal gray pan and I am shipped a silver - VERY light gray pan. The only saving grace is that it that the intended use of the product worked very well upon testing.

I had been looking to replace my old tube pan and had been looking for quite some time for the right pan..this was truly IT!..I have baked many cakes in it so far..and everything pops right out!..
