Nordic Ware Original Bundt Mixes

How happy I am to have found a mix that lives up to its name! The original Tunnel of Fudge bundt cake was a prize winning cake of the 70's and the very best chocolate cake ever, in my opinion. The dry frosting mix used in this recipe went obsolete in the 90's. Now, finally, my family can enjoy this lushous cake once more with Nordic Ware's cake mix. I bought one and tried it and the same wonderful taste came back to me. I have recommeded this taste sensation to all of my friends and bought 2 more for myself. Hint:If the price scares you just think of what you pay at a bakery for a simple birthday cake.

I bought the cake mixes when I bought the Nordic Ware bundt cake pans. The Caramel Apple spice is the new family favorite. Adding real apples is what puts it over the top. The Chocolate Decadance is another family favorite. Highly recommend these mixes. Worth every penney.

I am always hesitant to use mixes, but I was having a huge dinner party last week and I just didn't have the time to make a cake from scratch. I had received the Chocolate Chocolate mix with the Nordic Ware Pro Cast Original Bundt Pan as a gift from my friend Dave. I must say, everyone was absolutely impressed! Just the right amount of moisture, and the texture was perfect - everyone thought it was actually made from scratch. It comes with quick and easy to follow instructions with recipe adaptations for the more adventurous. It took 10 minutes to prepare by hand and 45 minutes to bake. Now I always keep a box around for those "just in case" moments and you should too!
