They have handles which makes them easy to get hot pans out of the oven. The thickness of the pans makes for even cooking without the bottoms getting overly done. I really like the square pan, it's nice for brownies and bars but makes a nice looking layer cake too. I just ordered a second square pan so I could make layer cakes in a square too, a little more interesting than just a round layer cake. Highly recommend. I have the KitchenAid pans in the round, square, rectangle, and jelly roll. They are all equally great KitchenAid quality. |
