I'm bought this 3-D Easter cake mold thinking it would be the easiest one the work with. Not really, since I started to run into little annoying problems at the start. The biggest one was when instructions state that you need to "use a ribbon or string to connect top and bottom mold securely theough holes on their side". What holes??!?? One half of the mold has solid tongue-like tabs and the other half open handles. I ended up looping and wrapping string around the two different tabs. Not easy when you have one of the molds filled with batter. Needless to say, quite a bit of the batter leaked out and I ended up with half an egg with a somewhat rounded dome on the bottom. I was somewhat disappointed with the result after all that work. There needs to be a better way to connect the two sides together on this mold (drilled holes, clamps or whatever), along with lambs and rabbits offered by this company.
