I love being able to cut my brownies and bars without ruining the edges. I think it is sturdy and well made. I did have leakage issues with a particularly thin lemon filling once, but the tray at the bottom collects the spillage and it didn't prevent the sides from coming off.
Only 4 stars because I have to alter the cooking time on every single one of my recipes to accomodate the 9-inch size. I see they only have a 7-inch and 9-inch available. What's up with that when every recipe I've ever seen is for an 8-inch square pan? Regarding the price, well worth it. First, I bought mine at Home Goods for $11 and it's already paid for itself. Second, I bought one as a gift on Amazon when they had a $$ off special. You can get this pan for less than the $22 pricetag if you do a little shopping. I still think it is well worth it. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Cheesecake Queen (South Bend, IN) - See all my reviews This review is from: Kaiser Bakeware Noblesse 9-Inch Square Non-stick Springform Pan (Kitchen) I bought one for myself a few years ago at a TJ Maxx home store in Indy. Believe it or not, I got it because of the recipe picture on the pan and it was awesome! I bought my last pan for my sister as a birthday present. I love the way you can cut the cheesecake in squares. I normally cover the bottom with non-stick foil and slide it right off of the pan onto a foil-covered cardboard round. That way I'm not cutting in the pan. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Kaiser Bakeware Noblesse 9-Inch Square Non-stick Springform Pan (Kitchen) I have used this pan several times and I am extremely happy with it!! The non-stick surface is really good and the pan is a good weight...not flimsy at all. A very fun shape for the traditional cheesecake! |
