Leak resistant for most batters,

This review is from: Kaiser Bakeware La Forme 10-Inch Nonstick Springform Pan (Kitchen)
When I attempted to bake a cranberry upside down cake, I had to poor a syrupy mixture in first before I put the batter over that, and the syrupy mixture started puddling in the recess around the base, only to end up burning on the floor of my oven. At the end of the baking time, so much moisture had run out that none was left for the cake.
If your batter is thin in viscosity, you may want to test it first and be prepared to use another pan. It does work well with the other batters I've tried. I would give it five stars, but for the claim of "leak proof," I won't. A better term would be "leak resistant with most batters." The anti stick properties are great, and I love spring form pans. It cleans up very well and will last a long time if cared for properly.
