Product Description
It is not an exaggeration to call this pan revolutionary. Like all springform pans, its sides are separate from the bottom and spring free automatically when the clamp is released. These sides, however, have a nonstick coating, so there is no need to run a knife between the pan and the cake???say good-bye to ragged edges. The base is heat-proof glass, which won't be marred by a knife when the cake is sliced and makes a nice serving plate. Finally, the pan has two large handles, a benefit when the filled pan needs to go from counter to oven.

Comment: I love this springform pan. The handles are great for moving cheesecake in and out of the oven. It cooks evenly and comes out clean. I just ordered another!

Comment: I purchased this item based on Cooking Illustrated Magazines reviews, but it leaked. Stupid me, I didn't check it before the batter was placed in the oven. I caught it early and wrapped it in aluminum foil. Amazon was very quick in sending me a replacement and free shipping labels for the return, even before I returned the first item. but I just checked the replacement with water, and it leaks too. Last year, I bought a spring-form pan from the grocery store twice and one worked once and then started to leak and the other leaked immediately. I had an old one for years that didn't leak, but tossed it when I bought the new non-stick one with a smoother bottom, thinking that would be better. I want my old beat up one back!. Can anyone suggest another one to try, or can Amazon check them before they send them out?

Comment: the pan leaked when I filled it with water to test the seal, but I have not put any batter in it yet. the first pan was dented. I have not queried the company yet so don't know if they will respond.
