Frieling Handle-It Glass Bottom Springform, 9-Inch

I really like this pan. The seal is secure (no leaking). With the handles, it's easy to manage, even for someone with arthritis (like me). It's also very nice to have a glass botton showing through on a serving plate instead of a metal one. This is definitely a winner.

I have used this springform pan for a couple of years now and would have to say that I am very happy with it. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because about a year after heavy use (I bake a lot of cheesecakes) one of the rivets on the handle broke. Fortunately I have a friend who had a riveter and was able to fix it. Beyond that I am completely satisfied with the performance. I have never had any leaking with it and I have made cheesecakes, torts, and flourless cakes in it. I do use a baine marie as another person had mentioned. I have always wrapped my springform pan in foil, I don't think you will ever find a springform pan that wouldn't leak to some degree in that circumstance....that is the purpose of using a springform pan....to be able to break it apart. The sides are non-stick and the glass bottom is extremely durable even though it is glass.

Good product - as described. I experienced no leaks as other reviewers mentioned.
