Summary: Not for cakes 2010-01-24
Comment: I bought this pan to replace an 8x8 coated pan that was all scratched and stained. I knew that it was only 7.5x7.5, but I didn't think that would really matter. I was wrong. This pan is too tiny for cakes, the sides are too low. It's shallow and small. I do however love the weight and finish and it cleans up nice. Not heavy like some pans and not flimsy either. No sharp corners for food to get stuck in. I just wish they made it 8" instead of 7.5". How many recipes call for 7.5? As the other reviewer suggested, this might work for brownies.

Summary: Best Square Baking Pan I Own 2009-11-27
Comment: I was looking for a square stainless steel brownie pan that didn't have seams in the corners, didn't have sharp edges, and was not light weight or extra heavy weight. This is it. I love it. Bonus: it's lovely. I plan to eventually replace my other bake ware with this line.
