(FYI- West Bend made an "Oven" that would work on the stove top, on a wood fire, or propane stove in the 1930s-1950s. These "ovens" produce identical results of a conventional oven, but produce much less heat buildup, store easily, and are extremely portable. The cover even has a thermometer built in to enable accurate temperature control).
I have several anodized aluminum pans by Fat Daddio's and the quality is tops. They are heavy, durable pans that produce even baking results. They are also easy to clean.
This pan is the perfect replacement pan for the vintage West Bend Ovenette popular with RVers. Actually it is better than the original since it is anodized and will not react with acidic foods. This is a big plus when adding wine to a pot roast or making a pineapple upside down cake. These pans will not impart a metallic taste like ordinary aluminum pans.
