This review is from: Fat Daddio's Anodized Aluminum 10-Inch Angel Food Cake Pan (Kitchen) I had been looking high and low for a one piece pound cake pan! To no avail, I couldn't find one in the stores. So I looked on line at Amazon and found Daddio's! I was very please with the one piece pan except that the rim was sharp and cut my finger! But I still like the pan very much. Maybe someone didn't crimp the rim enough! There were several size one piece pound cake pans or sponge cake, or angel food cake pans to choose from! The quality of the pan is heavy duty! Much better than the one I had for 30 years!! My cakes come out perfect! This review is from: Fat Daddio's Anodized Aluminum 10-Inch Angel Food Cake Pan (Kitchen) I've been looking for a one-piece tube-pan for quite a while, and this one by Fat Daddio is just what you need to make beautiful coffee cakes and other ring cakes. Cakes bake evenly, the pan is sturdy - industrial strength! - and easy to clean (it goes in the dishwasher). This pan is perfect for when you want to make a ring cake but an Angel Food pan (a two-piece pan with removable bottom) won't do. Now I no longer have to jerry-rig an Angle Food pan with tin foil to make a coffee cake ring (it never worked very well anyway, and I can't tell you how happy I am to not have to scrape leaked cake batter off the floor of my oven any more). A great product at a great price. 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Sadly, they all failed to perform to my standards. When I baked my first cake in this one I was hooked. It provided even baking,a lovely golden color and when flipped my cake released beautifully. Could it be the aluminum or a fluke? No flukes here, this pan is worth every dime. |
