Fat Daddio's Angel Food Pan / Tube Pan features a stackable anti-lock center, a solid bottom, and is made with 14-gauge anodized aluminum. There are no seams or weld lines often found in other pans. Comment: I purchased 2 of these pans to make Jeanne Robertson's 7-Up Cake. The quality of the pans is great. Very light weight, yet very rugged. The rolled rim is just enough of a "handle" to grip the pans securely. Since they are aluminum, they heat and bake evenly. The price was very reasonable. The size of these pans, 8" diameter, is difficult to find in my area, so finding them online was a great find, and the price was an added bonus. I would highly recommend these pans. Although I am a novice at baking, especially cakes from scratch, these pans make it almost foolproof to ruin any recipe. Not only do I recommend these pans, but I highly recommend the vendor as well. Got them delivered very quickly. Once again, Amazon.com came through for me.

Comment: I'm not a professional baker but I have almost 70yrs experience baking special cakes several times a year. Needed a new pan for baking fruit cakes so I ordered Fat Daddio's Anodized Aluminum 8-inch pan. This pan is so much better than the flimsy ones available at most 'big box' stores. It is very heavy/sturdy & the anodized aluminum heats quickly & evenly. Wish I'd had this years ago. I expect my grand kids/great grand kids will be using it long after I'm gone.

You know if "Mama ain't happy ain't nobody happy." And my Mamma is very very happy with this pan. Definitely would recommend.
