Comment: I have used this product twice. Once for cheesecake and once for an apple cake. Both times it performed perfectly. It is heavy enough and browned evenly. Easy to clean.

Comment: It's been a long time since I did extensive cooking, but I bought this springform to make a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake for a special friend whom I've known since we were 4. She was impressed with the results. So was I, on the production end. All the instructions I've read for baking cheesecake always said "use a thin knife or other utensil to loosen the cheesecake sides from the pan. Well, being non-stick bakeware, you're not supposed to use metal or you could scratch the surface. There were no "thin nylon utensils" available that evening to loosen the side, so I popped the spring....and the shortcake crust was completely intact! Look at the price, know that it delivers, and buy it if you need a 9-inch springform. You definitely will not do better off the shelf!

Comment: I was happy at first with the quality of this pan: it has a nice weight and beautiful non-stick coating. But I have only used it a handful of times over 6 months and now it leaks badly. Apparently the clasp has already weakened and no longer pulls the pan closed tightly enough to form a complete seal. It has a "lifetime" guarantee, but you have to send $7 for return shipping and handling to Cuisinart. Together with what it will cost to mail, it's hardly worthwhile, since I purchased it for $12.95.
