Crazy Bug Silicone Baking Pan Flexible Silicone Pan Creates 8, Bugs, Bees and Butterflies, Cupcake Treats, Gelatins, or Muffins!

Comment: This was smaller than I tought it would be, smaller than the size of a cupcake, however the imprints were good and they were adorable decorated!

Comment: I can understand the other reviewer's frustration with this mold, but my experience was all positive. I do not bake in the silicone pans, I use them as soap molds for my handcrafted soaps. This silicone is thicker, and thus not as supple as some of my other molds, which I can see would make it difficult to remove baked goods--and even jello. However it works beautifully for soap. These bugs have a lot of detail to them and so after the soap has been in the mold for 24 hours I recommend freezing it in the mold for a few hours before removing it. Then just push on the back of the mold, inverting the impression, and the soap peels right off.

In regard to the size of each impression--if you are familiar with the Nordicware Backyard Bugs pan you may expect these bugs to be the same size, since it appears to be the same design. However these bugs are quite a bit smaller.

These are really cute soaps--make a great guest soap, favor for a summertime party, or a gift with a few in a cellophane bag. The price here is quite steep--they are cheaper elsewhere, but if this was the only place I could find it I think I would still buy one.

Comment: This is a very cute pan, but the only thing that works in this pan is Jell-O. That is even hard to get out. I would not recommend this to anyone. Or buy again. Does make cute bug shapes when you can get them out without ripping.
