The nonstick surface of our muffin (or cupcake) pan makes paper baking cups optional and cleanup easy. Cleanup is more of a consideration in a muffin pan than many other bakeware pieces as it is really twelve little pans in one - if you choose only one pan with nonstick, let it be the muffin pan. For even heating and browning, the pan is made of heavy weight carbon steel. Not just for sweets, a muffin pan may also be used for mini-quiches or rolls.

This muffin pan is completely awesome. Say goodbye to the drudgery of scrubbing muffin tins. Nothing sticks. Knock off the chunks with a finger and into the dishwasher, or even just a soapy dishpan (in case a little grease lingers). Still looks new after a year of constant use.

Quite disappointing upon their arrival to find out that they were not made in the USA, there was no mention in any of the "ADS" of the "Facts" that they are now made in China. We spent hours in our Amazon.com search to avoid purchasing anything made in China. So if you feel the same let
Amazon know how you feel about Companies that take their production to PRC.

Finally, a muffin pan I don't have to clean! Well, almost! Just pour in your batter, bake, let cool 5 minutes, remove muffins. I made the mistake once of leaving the muffins in the pan for a few hours and this caused them to stick, so remove them almost immediately. There is absolutely no sticking!!! Whatever you do, DO NOT USE cooking spray, butter, or shortening to coat the pan. It simply does not need it for stick-free muffins. Hand rinse with warm soapy water, do not put in the dishwasher as this will slowly eat away the non-stick finish.
