We've never been displeased with any Chicago Metallic bakeware that we've ever purchased, and this cake pan is no exception. Sturdy and easy to clean. Throw away your cheap department store pans and go with Chicago Metallic for professional results.

Cook's Illustrated/America's Test Kitchen lists this as one of their TOP pans. I got it on Amazon for much less than any price I could find at any store near me. It was HIGH quality! I was so excited to give my Mother in Law such a nice gift that I did not break the bank to purchase! Christmas shopping on Amazon cannot be beat!

I have several Chicago Metallic cookware items and have found every one to be a top performer. This was my first use of one of their non-stick items. While the construction quality/weight is not as sturdy as their uncoated commercial product line, this is still a very well-made pan. Zero flex or warping in the oven, and bakes evenly.
The nonstick coating is effective, but I still use some crisco and flour, or some parchment paper when baking. I see the coating as being most helpful for clean up -- a quick pass with some soapy water and it's clean.
I did try using it as-is to bake a simple yellow cake. It did not release as easy as when I use crisco/flour, but the cake did pop out on its own. Still, I think I'll keep to my tried-and-true pan prep methods, and appreciate the non-stick coating more for its ease of cleaning.
Highly recommend.
